Villa della Regina
Queen Anne d'Orleans' Bedchamber
I recently learned of a twelve painting series done by Giordano Bruno that are now housed in the Windsor Castle. Interestingly enough, there is some doubts as to where the paintings were procured. The most simple is that the paintings were commissioned by Carlos IV of Spain who later sold them to King George III of England. However that is only a theory as to how they were acquired. With such doubt, I decided to use them for Queen Anne's Bedroom which featured a rare grotesquerie of the Olympian Gods. In this picture, four of the twelve can be seen.
