After the weekly battle between navy and pirates, Lady Conyngham (Tiamat Windstorm with a little extra padding) will be hosting tea and gossip in the United Kingdom as it stands in January of the year 1815 in Antiquity. Pray contact Tiamat Windstorm inworld if you would like the LM and some notes about some of the historical happenstances we'll be gossiping about!

Tea went pleasantly, with nothing stolen although our pirate child Beatrix Muircastle seemed to be taking a good look around. The cats were not entirely pleased by the company, though Captain Firebloom did her best to appease them. Prince Jacon of Bexar attended in the place of his nephew George, the Prince Regent, who has been somewhat troubled by gout and no doubt required the kind attention of Lady Hertford to soothe the pain. General the Marquis Conyngham was absent because of troubles in Ireland, but his lady acquitted herself well as hostess - aside from the inevitable moment when she fell from grace with a most un-genteel exposition of the economic effects of the proposed Corn Laws and their possible effects on the banking-accounts of landlords and tenants that only a banker's daughter would consider appropriate tea-time conversation.
