Today I write to tell you of an event that is hosted by mysterious nomads that dwell in the tents across the Nile. Are you curious about them? I know I am! That young Shiekh, Ghasini-al-Ghasarab, keeps his face covered at all times. His camp, however, he will open later today for an evening of tea, trade, dancing, and perhaps a taste of the water pipe.
I hear there is even to be a slave contest!
Dress to impress (in your best 18th century attire) and join me in welcoming the Shiekh and his clan to our valley. I most sincerely hope to see you there!
