The Duel
Dear diary,
quelle cruelté! what a horrible day! what started as a lovely hunt and diner in the forest of chateau de versailles ended up as a duel between the duc de rochefort and the prince de carpègne. It was all rainy and foggy. and what reminded me of the wid mob in paris was in fact crowd of courtiers trying to see what was happening. . who would die? would this foolish act have any consequences?
