Bactrian Camels
On the return trip from my merchant expedition on the silk road, the caravan had used Bactrian camels to transport all the wares back to the waiting ships at port in Tianjin. These strange beasts are indeed relatives of the arabian camels... but they have two humps instead of one. And they are much more furry than their desert counterparts. They are native to the Steppes of Central Asia and have been used as a beast of burden in those parts for thousands of years. And yes, like their desert counterparts, they too spit.
