What started out as smooth sailing turned quite dangerous as the two sisterships, Manticore and Leviathan, hit a strange gigantic fogbank in the middle of the Atlantic. Within this great cloud, the two sisters were suddenly hit with a strange unfamiliar wind which blew them off course and further into the heart of the bizarre fogbank. With no sign of dissipation, the two ships were at the mercy of the unforgiving gale. The compasses were spinning in all directions as if the fogbank were toying with them, thus rendering the equipment unreliable. With no stars nor sun to be seen, the two ships were "flying blind" into the maelstrom, and could go nowhere but forward....riding the accursed winds into destiny itself.
