Le Docteur à son bureau
Another hard working day has come to an end. The evening is a time to study and contemplate (while enjoying a good glass Chateau Laflutte 1769 of course).
I am writing down all curious cases i investigated today. Especially that one of the Vicomtesse de X attracted my special interest. She clearly suffers from what the great Hippocrates describes as a movement of the uterus to various locations within her body. To him it's mostly the result of the organ becoming light and dry, due to a lack of bodily fluids. I personally would rather call it "Hysteria", because that term describes more properly what is going on... Our dear Hippocrates proposes to moisturise the uterus... This certainly needs further study and investigation....
