Kenilworth Keep Rose Garden
Built my the master's great-father to commemorate the King's victory at Kenilworth Castle during the Second Barons' War in 1267, the statue of the valiant soldier has withstood terrible winters and lovely summers. It is here that the mistress comes every morning to pray, accompanied only by the chirping of birds and the beginning of the day's toil. It is with blind faith that she kneels before the statue and prays: for her husband, for the castle and its many families and for the souls of those who have perished for England's sake.
