The entries must be in by this Thursday so go on over to the Duchy and start taking photos! Here are the rules.

We are once again hosting the Coeur Duchy Art Contest with prizes of up to 5000L! There is NO FEE required to enter.

Contestants should explore the Coeur Duchy (the entire 14-region sim) in search of up to 3 of the most beautiful landscape scenes (which may include people if desired) captured as snapshots. You may use any of the filters in your Sky and/or Water editor, or modify the snapshots in GIMP, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, etc. We will accept any entry that is actually a scene from the Duchy.

We strongly suggest that you take the time to explore the regions from the ground (by foot, horsedrawn carriage, or horse), air (by balloon), and water (by boat) in search of unique scenes that perhaps others have not seen. Also, try a mix of filters for an artistic effect that brings across a feeling in your 'painting'. If you include people in your painting, they should be dressed appropriately. The timeframe is the 17th/19th century.

*Submit the finished FULL PERM images no larger than 512 x 512 with title and the region name (found at the top left title of your screen) and your name to SkyeRyder Varriale by July 28th.

* The photos will be displayed in the Duchy for voting from July 29th to August 1st. You may vote for your own painting and have others vote as well. This will be done by touching the paintings, which will be publically displayed in the merchant areas. The top paintings will then be submitted to a committee who will pick the top winners with Monsieur Beaumont's approval.

* Paintings received after the 28th will be displayed, but there will be fewer days available for voting, so it is best to get your painting in by the 28th!

* There will be 3 winners. Grand prize is 3000L, with two runner-up prizes of 1000L each. Limit 3 entries per person.

* We are looking for the most beautiful representation of the Beauty of the Coeur Duchy!

Direct any other questions to "Duchesse" SkyeRyder Varriale or "Duc" Bedrich Panacek.
