Hey I'm absolutely sure this must be Voltaire (as I have read some letters from my grandmothers collection with the same V. Always. I have a feeling it was just a nickname for all I know it's just a person called victor or such... Anywho I hope you enjoy if I Find more about this I'll post them.....(Oh and I as far as I know there was nothing between these two just best friends)My dearest ReginaHow are you? I haven't heard from you in over two years. Are you well or have I fallen from you favour all together? I am writing to invite you to Paris to see my new play at the opera house please come I have been waiting to see you for ages I very much miss your company at the stage when I would write you kept me company and I miss that very much.... When we would sing and dance all day till it was dinner. You are a true delight indeed. I have heard of you Giving birth to another boy just last month from Alice I am trilled for you. What have you named him? Anyway I will expect you letter soon to confirm you want to come. I have made arrangements for you to stay with me while you are here and please bring along Edward. My dear Madame

I wonder perhaps it was Victor Hugo ? The Paris opera house was built I think in 1861. A little late for Voltaire .

A charming letter though much more informative and well mannered then our email's don't you agree ?

Yes id say I have an identity mistake I have three reigns I know of in the roots... If it's victoria(she is on the tree as Regina"Victoria" called by her middle name (regina) so if it's victor Hugo I'm still delighted
