A Few of the Rooms of the Apartment...
The Gaming Salon...needs no further explanation! The Madame of France, won over 2000 sous at our gaming night, playing the Roulette Table, in our other Grand Salon, to the chagrin of the Paris Dealers! Here you see pictured our Vngt-et-un Table, (Black Jack or 21 as it is now known as ). Madame had the nerve to lectured me on losing...saying it was punishment and good for the soul! Alas, being me, in my mind, I was saying so is winning....otherwise she would not have been carried out, in her sedan, with that big wide smile on her face!
