Practicing for the Versailles Sedan...
2 weeks ago the Comtesse de Noailles, had run circles around me in her Sedan. So in preparation for the Versailles Sedan and Carriage Race, I thought I should practice. Since the Duchesse demanded to participate, I agreed reluctantly, as I ducked the poo slung at me. She was beating the skirt off of me, and was way ahead! I started to catch up and pass her....I was thrilled! It had occurred to me as my runners whizzed passed her Grace , they were huffing and puffing, mental note..lay off of the bon bons, that the Duchesse, was not moving. So out of concerned I turned back and noticed that her servants were running in the opposite direction, without her!
