The Three Sisters 1
Over time, the three sisterships of the Benevolent Order of the White Wolf would be known throughout the Mediterranean, especially amongst the locals of Napoli, Venezia and Genoa as the "Parcae", which in Ancient Roman Myth, were the "Three Fates." Aside from carrying out the business of the order in different parts of the world, the "Parcae" had also been deployed in the general defense of home waters by the various Italian city-states in and around the Tyrhenian and Ligurian seas. Amongst the most famous battles the Parcae had partaken in would be on behalf of Neapolitan Forces in what would eventually known in the history books as the Battle of Genoa in 1795. This battle was a great victory for the British/Neapolitan forces. The next year, the Parcae will have participated in the Battle of Montenotte where Neapolitan forces would have failed to stop Napoleon from landing on the Ligurian Coast and thus allowing him to launch troops from the south for his bloody Montenotte campaign. Due to overlooked damages from the year before in the Battle of Genoa, the great ship Leviathan would eventually be doomed to be lost in the Battle of Montenotte from a weakened hull structure and on that fateful day, swallowed by the Ligurian Sea.
What a stunning image. WOW!
