Farewell Decades 2: The Departure
After a month moored at the decades Festival, Captain Lucerius, along with his crewmembers (including First Mate Rodriguez, Hawkeye Jones, Scurvy Dan, and the Dancing Girl Tahliyah) set sail for adventure back into the great blue horizons of antique history. As the ship slowly made her way out to sea, the crew took a quiet moment on deck to salute a wonderful and successful exposition. The sun sank calmly over Valhalla island as the Sea Witch eventually made her way out of the bay...past the breakwater, and into the horizon like the stately lady she was... taking her own sweet time as she sailed lazily into the golden sunset.
Fair winds and grand adventures to the Sea Witch, her crew and able Captain. Until we meet again at the crossroads.

Thanks to Robijn, the DECADES Flame is safe and sound and we will keep throwing virtual goats into the fire until we can come up with a permanent home for it. DECADES isn't a destination in the way a historical community like Antiquity, Rocca Sorrentina, Philo, Roma are...it's a portal and hopefully it can find a place on the grid to help attract/direct newbies interested in learning about history and education efforts in SL and "etc." to those communities and to RC web site...and also keep the fund-raising for HCRC going, since a new and better platform is on the wish list for here.
