Interlude: The Escape- Captivity
Months of captivity have taken toll on me... mind, body and spirit. Yet patience and perserverance had paid off, and my time was nigh. Months of calculation and planning were about to take fruit.... I looked up to the narrow window, with the setting sun shining it's golden blessing upon me... a promise that my freedom was soon to be if I played my cards just right. I smiled as I entertained the thought of leaving this hellhole, yet I did not let up my guard... We all know the phrase "It's not over 'till it's over....."
I hate the idea that a well traveled gallant fellow like yourself, are stuck in such primitive and dare say, barbaric lodgings. I pray that you can escape, and escape well enough so you won't be caught again.
At least they have provided bread . . .
*whispers* how stale is the bread dear Lorsagne?
Hard enough to break his tooth...or if he can restrain himself from eating some to keep up his strength (he looks so thin from hunger) perhaps he will use it as a weapon to take out the guard...
Oh Captain ! I had no idea of this ~ May it all be over for you soon ....
