Cathay II
The Far East invokes images of fine rugs, spices, and riches beyond any merchant's dreams. The Silk Road is an outlet to any such person wishing to acquire such wares. Seeing a good opportunity to make a small fortune, I opted to stock the ship with exotic inventory for transport back to Europe. The start of my Gobi adventure began in Tianjin. The ship was moored in the Bohai Gulf. It was a beautiful sunset upon arrival to port. After debarking, I needed to get my business in order immediately. Over a cup of tea and local faire, I managed to muster up a caravan to help transport the goods, as well as some well armed guards to protect the caravan.
