Célestin Guillaume Timoléon Gouffier de Bonnivet, was a favorite of Henri III of France in the last years of his reign, Born in 1566 he was a cadet of that prestigious family (Cousin of the duc de Roannais, his father was marquis de Bonnivet et des Deffends. He has 3 older brothers Henri, Timoléon and Charles). The king granted him lands and riches. He made his fortune and created him marquis de Crèvecoeur in 1586.
