After being taken to the isolated Lazaretto, Dr. Greymound, Physician and Dr. Panacek, Surgeon, began to discuss the patiënts situation. Mr Gandt withnessed with great interest.
The lady experienced pains in the head, back and limbs accompanied by high fever. She also had to vomit.
Now the big question was what we would do to straighten up her humoral unbalance: bloodletting or purgation? Difficult choice... Maybe we should do both.
A complicating factor however was the fact that the woman seemed to be pregnant.
