Monument to "il conte verde" -- Amedeus VI, called the Green Count -- in front of the palace of the municipality (city hall) in Turin. Amadeus VI (1334-1384) was Count of Savoy, Lord of Gex, Crusader and Imperial Vicar. The dukes of Savoy and the Kings of Italy descend from him.
