Whitehall hosts the 'The Art of Majesty' exhibition!

Communty News & Events

Hello everyone,

I am proud to announce that Whitehall will be hosting the 'The Art of Majesty' exhibition, organized by MariaJosefa Baudin. The 'Art of Majesty' exhibition looks at how the Stuarts attempted to display themselves to the world. Serving a more political rather than artistic purpose, their portraits hide much more than they reveal. Touch one of the many paintings to gather information about them, as the greeter in the exhibition hall will remind you of too.

To get access to the exhibition hall, which will be formally opened monday the 6th of june at 3 pm SLT, use the following SLURL to go to the welcoming area.

http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Whitehall%20London/119/77/2004/?title=Whitehall%20Welcoming%20Center

Here you can use either touch the sign to go to the exhibition directly (on the left of the teleporter) or use the teleporter and select 'Exhibition hall'

Hope to see you there!

[MODE] 17th Century Gown

Apparel

Hey everyone,

I am so glad to share with you my latest and first 17th century gown, coming in 4 different colours.

A simple and yet beautiful, 17th century gown. The gown is part in mesh. The mesh parts are the top collar, the sleeves, the bodice, and a mesh underskirt underneath the flexi skirt (so that it covers one's legs when sitting or dancing). The bodice comes in sizes XS, S, M and L, using Standard Sizing as guideline, but maintaining the right, bodiced silhouette.

The gown is part mod: The collar and the flexi skirt are modifiable so one can adjust it to their shape.

Enjoy! :D
