Brilliant!

It's been so much fun following the trail of food cultivating, cooking and eating. A lot of work as well as imagination has gone into it. Thank you Tat and Sere! I look forward to our next gastronomic delights.
My name is Aphrodite Macbain. I have lived in Sorrentina for about nine years and manage the little cafe on the port. Almost every Saturday at 11 AM you can find me there serving coffee to locals and members of the cafe. I am also a painter of botanical art work and grow herbs and flowers to sell in the market.
I was born in Scotland. My husband, Lord Hubert Macbain travelled with Captain James Cook during his explorations of the West Coast of America. He, along with Cook, was drowned at sea in 1780 when his ship HMS Thunderer, was sunk by a hurricane.
Having no family left in Scotland, I decided to take the Grande Tour of Europe, using the money from the sale of our castle. It was then that I discovered Rocca Sorrentina on the west coast of Italy in the Bay of Naples. I now call it home.
Lady Aphrodite Macbain (please call me "Aph")
Please pardon the intrusion, but I thought Aph should have her own post so I've moved her story to Lady Aphrodite Macbain Backstory

I am delighted! You have done a lot of work and put a great deal of thought into this and presented it in a lighthearted accessible way. I look forward to watching things as they progress. Thank you.
' Definitely going to give this a shot!
Victoria' Is About To Become Your Biggest Non-Guilty Pleasure
Do you miss "Downton Abbey" with every fiber of your period-piece-loving being? Fear not, Victoria is here to ease your suffering. The PBS drama tells the story of a young Queen Victoria as she finds her footing as England's unlikely regina and falls in love with Prince Albert, the most emo man of all time.
The show can best be described as stunning, addictive, "why am I not an 18th century English royal?" inducing, and ridiculously romantic — i.e. exactly what you need to get you through this winter.
It is worth seeing simply to watch Rufus Sewell as Lord Melbourne **swoons**

Happy holidays to both of you. I look forward to spending wonderful times with you and all our friends in the new year.
Beatrice, Hestia and myself will prepare sandwiches and coffee for those poor refugees who land on our shores. There are also vegetables and salad in the garden and apples on our tree and I know there is some grappa under the counter for those who need warming up and calming down. I believe we have blankets and dry clothing that can also be distributed. I look forward to be able to help in any way I can..
