The last great do at the old...
Constance, doing bridesmaid duty at the last big do at the old Versailles, a lovely lovely wedding ... I'll leave it to the bride if she wants to say who she is/was. :^) This is in the Salon de la Reine on the First Floor, where the guests ate and danced after the Mass, which was said at an altar erected in the Galerie des Glaces ... we just walked through the Queen's Apartments to get to the reception. January 2009

Yes, I remember ... it was a lovely time but we did miss you. Lord, everyone drank and those green fairies came out to play!We did have very nice times there, and great fun, both IC'ly and dancing on the roof and whatnot! But just like the real Versailles of old, there were more than a couple of pitfalls for the novice ...Hee hee yes it was your wedding cherie, and you looked even prettier than usual - that was such a nice ceremony and a fun reception. You should repost some of those piccies if you have a chance. Having a chapel is soooo nice though!!
Oh yes, no one had worn feathers before, then I wore those *poof* lol, and I'll have to dig them out, I look awful on them compared to how I look now though, lol, and omg I remember the Absynthe! That was just a fab night
I just realised I commented on the wrong photo... lol, the Absynthe is relevant, but the feathers I'm referringh to are on another photo
