Dear fellow courtiers,
In December there will be held a genuine 18th century "winterbal" at the Chateau d'Ursel, about 15 minutes driving from my RL home. Its organized by a classical dance institute, who also organises lessons about 18th court dances.
Included is a link where you can find some pictures about last years event:

I have two problems: where can i hire a real 18th century costume and wig? And last but not least... I don't have a RL dancepartner (i can't dance anyway). Help !

WINTER BAL AT CHTEAU DURSEL
The stately home at Hingene was the maison de plaisance of the aristocratic dUrsel family for almost four centuries. Now, it belongs to the Province of Antwerp who has restored the castle to its former glory with passion.
Although spring has barely begun, we already have the pleasure to invite you to our annual Winter Ball. On this festive evening, the grand hall of the castle will once again be transformed into an 18th-century ballroom. The musicians and dancing masters of the Classical Dance Foundation will invite you for a beautiful series of contredances. At the same time, you can also visit the other rooms in the castle. To keep you dancing throughout the evening, refreshments will be provided.
