Thanks for posting these. Oh dear - I didn't even notice at the time, that we got two maps up on the wall somehow. Oops! Well, the map is just one of the small details we can plan a bit better next time but all in all, I guess things went pretty well. Thank you for all you did!

Such a shame - all those attractive gentlemen of elevated title, so terribly distracted by those tiresome maps. Not one of them had his eye on the Duchess's elegant neckline, or indeed on my own. Of course I did not expect an eye from Wellington, but some of the others I expected to be more observant. And their wives sometimes accuseme of poor breeding - !

The roast pork was excellent, however, and the champagne very effective in its proper task.
