Claire-Sophie de Rocoulle of Sanssouci Park , the proprietor of the Dragon Pavilion, has graciously donated a beautiful picnic set and dance rug for winners of the upcoming regatta!
The Second Annual Corsair Regatta is a semi-in-character, sim-wide festival hosted by the Barbary Coast. Come meet the corsairs, pashas, and harem girls of the northern coast of Africa, circa 1780! Period attire is encouraged.
The goal is to try to include players in multiple time zones, so some events may open early while others run late. ONE EVENT IS SLATED FOR --FRIDAY-- AT 4PM.

THE GREAT SLAVE HUNT AND AUCTION!
One of the jobs of a corsair is to capture and sell slaves. From 2-5, all prey are invited to roam the deserts and all predators (corsairs, pirates, outlaws, nomads, amazons, and slavers) are tasked to round them up!
The SLAVE PLAY PLACE, in Kadiz, is a naughty dungeon that is open to the public. Feel free to take your captives there for some quality fun time OR sell them on the auction block!
PRIZE: *200* BC coins, a ship-in-a-bottle trophy, desert picnic set. Prize goes to the hunter who collects the most slaves.

Land Races, Korat Stables
The pasha's prized kadin, a girl named Song, hosts land races. Race your camel, horse, or other land animal across the desert and into Kadiz! Cross the gypsy and nomad camps, brave sand storms and traps, and try to reach the finish line safely!
PRIZES: Winners receive ship-in-a-bottle trophy, 50 BC coins, a desert picnic set, and a single kiss from Song. The winner is advised to keep his hands under good regulation lest he gain a trophy AND a stump.
