Brimborion
The little pavilion and garden by the Seine was annexed to the Chateau de Bellevue, and a terraced, sloping parterre connected it with the main structures. It survived, albeit altered, into the nineteenth century, among the last of the pleasure houses that once dotted the banks of the Seine around Paris.
Oh how beautiful! I always admired this tiny maison de plaisance - hopefully one can pay a visit some day!
This is very lovely and I would love to visit and see it "up close."
monsieur, much praise to you as your estate is most impressive and atmospheric ! I was most fortunate to"accidentally" pass by on an errand yesterday. I look forward to its glorious metamorphosis.
kind regards le comte d'Antraigues.
Sidonie, Madame de Sade, and Monsieur le Comte:
Your kind words are greatly appreciated! The "master plan" is to join afull sim so that Bellevue can be rezzed in its entirety - at least inasmuch as it has been designed for SL. Yoursweet compliments provide encouragementto reachthe final goal! Please feel free to stop in at the homestead "Cour Royale" anytime (I found the sim already named thus - quite fortuitous)! I fear hard hats will damage your lovely coifs, but do proceed with caution as construction is still ongoing!
Having just returned from a very brief visit to the "construction site" I am nearly speechless. It is am amazing build and I will return again and again to admire each new detail. Thank you!
