Caro signor Principe: for weeks I have been telling Luigi and Rico that there are ghost ships, but never do they believe me. Your testimony is a confirmation of what my poor eyes have seen at midnight in the port more than once from the window of the boys dormitory.

Il mio caro re dello Scampi -seems the whole island has gone mad. Another has reported the same sighting. But the explanation is quite simple.Late at night Cece had been helping herself to my wine while making herself a meal. A poorly placed bag of flour fell from the shelf above and opened on to her head. She was covered bonnet to dirty toes in a beautiful dusting of the best white flour from my kitchens. In her usual theatrical style she went moaning out the door stumbling to the port where she launched one of my schifos into the water. The other witness heard her as she rowed out toward the full moon, glowing in all her floured glory, Signore! Signore! Look I have been wrapped in an angels gown. Then a small wave rocked the schifo knocking the blessed Cece screaming into the sea.All of one half meter from shore. Please be kind enough to go to the mill and bring the kitchen staff two new bags of flour first thing in the morning.Grazie
