We traveled by caravan for about two weeks Northwest. The journey was slow and tedious, yet on the contrary, I got a chance to really see the Manchurian countryside, it's people and it's culture in detail. Soon enough, we got to a small, centrally located outpost town on the Silk Road along the Gobi. Traveling caravans were known to stop and sell their wares here.
