I have been interested, since a long time, by this topic of Vanities in baroque paintings, but ( as usual with me) more as a curious mind than as a researcher... I was therefore glad to attend Madame Victoire 's event ( in spite of its late, late schedule for me), and the least I can say is that I have not been disappointed! I learned more things and viewed the matter from more perspectives in one hour ( and a half) than in former years! and apart from the content of lecture itself,I wasamazed by the clever use of SL tools Madame Victoire chose to bring the subject to our attention. It was both food for thought and a feast for the eyes! An enlightening experience if there ever was one!
I bow deeply to Madame Victoire's talent and dedication, and to her most charming skills as an Hostess for this event!
