Masked Ball - Guessing Identities
One guest wanted to return early, and he was the most amazing of all the masked nobles. He was dressed in wonderful peacock feathers, and through the beaked masked seemed to talk with a nasal accent. Fiorino the gondolier's apprentice, was reminded of his boyhood friend Louis-Charles de Carpègne, who spoke with the same cadence. The Peacock Man was very friendly, making the gondolier's work lighter - also with the tip of a beautiful ring.
Tee hee he was nice but he ruffled some feathers!!
Nice pictures Fio .. and you did a lovely job with the gondola!
I am sure his nasal accent was only due to restriction caused by the mask, and that he normally has a voice like warm honey dribbling off a gangplank.
Or so I would imagine...
