Hello Everyone
How quickly time flies!! On July 21, 2011 it will be time to renew our Ning subscription and sowe're asking for your help. I suggest that we continue with the Ning Plus as it has served us well over the past year.
Ning Plus willcost us $239.90 a year (or $24.95 a month) which is approximately L$62,500 depending on exchange rates (Please note, I updated these prices on June 22 as soon as I received the price increase notice from Ning) . As we did last year, I propose that we do not collect more than this amount asone year in advance seems like a good milestone. If we do not collect enough money by July, I propose we go on a monthly basis even though it will cost us 20% more.
I have setup a donation box at the Coeur Fairgrounds . Look for the big Royal Courts sign in the south-west corner & "Pay it" to donate!

Summer Coeur Fair - Help Wanted

The Duchy hosts a quarterly fair (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) at the Coeur Fairgrounds with the next one slated forJuly 8th to 10th. This will be an opportunity to meet & mingle with your fellows and have an all-around good time in a relaxed, country atmosphere.
The use of the RPS Role-Play system is encouraged (but not necessary) to take full advantage of this event. Find out more at Duch de Coeur - RPS Getting Started .
Set up will begin 6am FridayJuly 8th. Take down 6pm SundayJuly 10th.
A schedule of event times will be posted so that you know when you are most likely to meet people there. Each participant will be limited to 50 prims though exceptions may be granted (contact me to arrange for more prims). You will be assigned a specifc area for your set up.
We are looking for a variety of people:
Merchants - selling goods for RP$. You can do this a number of ways including the use of RP$ Vendors (contact me for more information) or by actually being present and selling the items directly. Bartering & trading is encouraged. Any item applicable to the time period is welcome including, food, herbs, flowers, art, healing potions, furniture etc. There will not be a charge for these merchants. Merchants - selling RPS Compatible goods for L$. Spaces are limited and there will be a L$5/prim fee to participate (minimum of 10 prims).

All merchants are encouraged to be present on the Sunday from 12pm to 2pm SLT at a minimum.
Services - earning RP$. It would be great to have people both performing & offering different services: healing, fortune telling, musicians, magicians, jugglers) Please use your imagination! The times for these will be advertised as individual events.
Work for RP$. There are always spots available for people interested in Working for RP$. Jobs include: Apprentice Bakers, Yarn Makers, Apprentice Blacksmiths & Coopers. No special skills are required but you should note that this work can be both physically and mentally demanding.
