En Garde Game Wanted
Recreation & Entertainment
Does anyone know where in SL I can find an En Garde game? It seems that the creator is no longer in-world.

Have you read his "On Writing?" It's a fascinating look into his personal life and the intersection between that and what he calls his 'writer's toolbox.'
What is the DFS system?
I am just dipping a toe into Unity Empire, myself. I chose it because it seemed to allow for more customization while being less Gor-oriented than other systems.
As part of the 18th Century Fashion Show, Larl Valley is hosting an 'antique' Gacha Bazaar. Discounted prices on antique gachas from around the grid! Livestock! Rare buildings! The perfect items for your collection! After today, I'll start putting them on the marketplace at market rates, so make sure to get your discounts today.

I am looking for some period appropriate freebie apparel to distribute to new players at Larl Valley. The theme is 1700s Egypt. I'm also interested in selling general attire and Mamluk uniforms for a profit split. If any creators want to try their hands at a fun new theme, I'd love to host your vendors at my sim. I already host Priory of Roses and Mirage.

This is where I'll be! If anyone is near enough to Louisville, KY to stop by for all or part of the weekend, there is a fabulous event going on. It's the Jane Austen Festival at Locust Grove. Locust Grove is a Georgian manor house that has been restored to its appearance as of roughly 1810 or so, I believe. Do you remember the famous Lewis and Clark? Well, Clark lived there. P residents James Monroe and Andrew Jackson were also guests there. This weekend, in addition to the Jane Austen festival, there is also a naval encampment reenactment. If you want to take a tour through history in rl rather than in sl, this is the place!
Forgive me if I've posted this in the wrong spot. I just thought my fellow history and/or literature enthusiasts might want to know about the event.
I love this show to pieces. I didn't watch it until after it aired. A friend sat me down and basically forced me to watch it, and then I fell in love. The writing is really powerful. I love the way it plays with the genre and winks at the audience. It's a smart show wrapped in fluffy window dressing. All of these years later, Buffy stands out for me as one of the first TV shows that engaged both my brain and my heart.
Hi, friends!
I have a technical question for the more enlightened SL gurus out there. A friend of mine complained of lag on my sim the other night. I have noticed that I have to play with my settings at high instead of ultra when I am in my sim. In some other sims that I frequent, I can play at ultra with no problem. The struggle is real.
So how do I identify and kill the culprit? My statistics meter says I'm fine. I have plenty of prims left and my script usage isn't too bad. The problem must be texture-related, but I've even tried to cut down on texture lag by reusing the same textures again and again, but in different arrangements. How do I find the textures that might be causing lag?
