Rulers of the World

Communty News & Events

Throughout history rulers of nations have used imagery to convey royal prerogative and authority. Whether the depictions were in the form of royal crests, crowns, statuary, or paintings, the images were carefully designed to enhance the image of the ruler as a powerful authority. This exhibit traces the use of such images throughout history and from many regions of the world to show the poses, clothing, expressions and royal symbols that have been used to portray the power of the sovereign.

You are cordially invited to visit this new enthralling exhibition recently unveiled on Rocca Sorrentina's entry platform. Our sincere thanks to Monsieur Taunay for his time and efforts on the installation.
