300th Birthday of Jean-Jacques Rousseau

History

Born July 28th 1712 in Genve (Geneva) Jean-Jacques Rousseau became one of the most outstanding philosophers of the Sicle des Lumires - the age of Enlightenment in Europe. His thoughts on society, morals, education, music (yes, he was also a composer!) and our world in general have inspired generations and are still valid today! Kudos to this extraordinary gentleman!

For all those who have saved a few sou we have good news. A new merchant has recently arrived on the market. His name? Monsieur Charpentier. And he sells "curious" hair accessory for ladies! Here we have a snapshot with the Comtesse de Noailles admiring the new arrivals:

Apparently a venetian merchant and a dubious brioche selling Vicomtesse are eager to open their businesses here soon, too...

Update:

You can now also pay purchase 10 packs of the menus and soups by "Le Cuisinier du Roy"!
