It is with much joy that we announce to you that Chteau de Versailles in SL will once again be taking part in the world expo associated with the 9th birthday of SL!

Our exhibition in 2011 called "Aprs nous le dluge" was dedicated to the frivolous and scandalous life at the court of France and its tragic end!

However, this year our theme shall be "Life at the Royal Court of France in Second Life". Our aim is to portray the life of our community and RPers in a photography exhibition. The exhibit will feature photos / photographies taken by none other than you! So we need your creative energies and ideas to complete this project! Let the fun begin!

Concept: The exhibition will give visitors a close insight into the life of individuals at court and most importantly their families. Thus, we have reserved certain areas for our RP families (historical and fictional) to introduce themselves and their members!

Send us captivating photos depicting your family life, intrigues or simply anything related to your life at Versailles! A good start could for instance be a family portrait of your family followed by further intriguing snapshots!

In addition to that we will need your family's biography and storyline filled with interesting details about your family's ambitions, dark secrets and ... anything defining a good courtier .

IMPORTANT: The event has GENERAL maturity rating. Thus, anything inappropriate will not be accepted (yes, no sexy photos with your boobs falling out!)

How to submit?

Please send me (MarieJosette Laville) your photos and descriptions in one of the forms that were sent in our group today!

CLOSING DATE: 15th June (only 10 days!)

Yes, you can We will still accept submissions after the 15th. But given that the expo opens on the 17th we do face a clear limit limit

Dear I check this website every day...and LL does not schedule rollbacks - never has. Your landlord was most likely the one who scheduled it and I suppose he forgot to inform you about it. You have the right to be reimbursed for your loss.

According to what I have experienced so far as Estate Manager of Chateau de Versailles Linden Lab does not perform rollbacks unless they were explicitly requested by either the landowner or one of the estate managers. In fact, LL is at times reluctant to perform requested rollbacks as those bring about extra costs they would rather like to avoid... I never heard about any such incident before - until now. Rollbacks are a sensible option if prims were deleted or returned accidently as they revert the server to a certain state in the past! I personally believe that your landlord may be involved in this issue more than he may admit!

If I were you I would take this up with him and ask for a form of reimbursement for the damage. He must have ordered this rollback. Because frankly LL could not be bothered to do themselves...
