Nice building really! I discover it by chance while sailing by the calm waters of Normandie's Bay. I didn't can avoid moor in front of its elegant silouete, and Fortune wanted to find an open door through which to enter and explore its exquisite interior. Great work Skye!

L'habit a la française...reflections...

Marketplace Archive ** CLOSED **

Dear Coleague,Very interesting post. Really I think that you touched the main dilemma of all the period clothes designers, this is, realistic shape and texturing against clothes movement. In fact the problem is very diferent depending the kind of piece that we are talking. For example I had the oportunity of exam some real period justacorps from late 18 century and them had a rigid tail usually buttoned and folded, in one or two parts, probably to improve the movement of the soldier. Totally diferent is the case of other pieces, like the luxury coats designed to assist court events or balls, where is most important to get a graceful movement of the clothes.Really I think that don't exist a perfect solution, but continue looking for the most close solution for each diferent type of clothe. Also, we must pray to Linden gods to have soon a more precise controls for flexy prims and these desired flexy sculpty prims that speaks from old!!!Yours sincerely,Trasgo Beaumont.

Duché de Coeur - New Adventures in Role Play!!

Communty News & Events

Oh it's true!!!! I don't think in these deep caves plenty of scurvy dogs!!! :))mmm, yes, I see now that the RPS economy could be more wide and useful that i initially think, and sounds very exciting. Please, keep us informed abut the developement and when will be ready some docs about programming the RPS system i'd like to study them and start to make things that works in that way.In other order of things...is necesary in this system to wear - like i saw in other places - these floating tags with the player stats over our heads?

Duché de Coeur - New Adventures in Role Play!!

Communty News & Events

Excellent news that i'm sure that could improve our life in the Duchy, making it not only a beautiful place to reside, even a funny world to play our baroque roles! Althoug i like to know a little more about the economy system, because i'm not sure about if it works very good in other sims. I think that if you have to have two systems, it limites a lot the rol play game. In fact, most of us play in any mode - with bussines or without - In my own, i am a court painter since my beginings in SL and i'm proud to have develop a career like this with my personal work.I mean that, may be that if we could develop a rol play system using the lindens - in few quantities could work better and atract more people interested in play with us. Let me tell you a little and fast example. I think tehe secret are in the perishable products. For example - wine. If we sell the same bottle-without-end that is usual in sl ( 150-200 L more or less) this not encourage the RP in any way. If we create a grapes-press that give you a bottle each 5 minutes, for example- the owner of the press could sell the bottles- that give you 10 glasses and later is empty by a cheap price ofmmm 5 linden for example? This make that the grapes-press-owner have to touch the press - or use in any way - to produce wine - so he is playing and is living between the comunity - people that want wine - 'real' wine, that end when we drink pay a little quantity and have to go to sell it -rp again- or send their servant - a servant could have a little salary too. So noble people- like in the RL - must spend more money ofcourse to keep this little pleassures of the life - and all gain with a more real rp atmosphere. This is a lot better than camping, and people that like the baroque not only could play with us, even gain some lindens - but not camping standing in a place without play - playing active in our comunity .Well, i want to start this little discussion - to know what you think about - i thik could be good for all heheExcuse my english - not too good ever, and furthermore- this is my first RP economy tractact LOLTrasgo Beaumont,Court Painter and proud renter of Ashthorne Manor.Aquitaine.
