Queen Victoria's Journals
History
Hmmm. I really do need to update my profile picture ....
I've been dipping into these as well. They provide an interesting and much more personal view of Victoria and her daily life than the biographies I've read.
Very interesting! I must say that I am glad I inhabit the 18th century only in SL, where well-made gowns fit beautifully - without affecting the ability to breathe.
Not long ago (autumn?) Bedrich put out a notecard, with information and landmarks, of the various spots that comprised the tour of the Duchy for Virtual Pioneers. I was (and am relatively) new to the Duchy and slowly worked my way down the list, teleporting to one landmark to visit and then taking a horse or carriage ride home. It was an absolutely lovely way to become more familiar with the Duchy (and enjoy the scenery).
Thank you so much for extending the exhibition. I was able to wander through the hall at my leisure, read the commentary, and enjoy the works. Merveilleux!
SHEET MUSIC!!!! (And music boxes when my fingers - and talents - give out on the harpsichord!) Merveilleux!
Oh how lovely! And my favorite role (of course)! It is already mine. (Hurrying off to search for an AO.)
