Joyland: Stephen King pits Pulp against Pixels

Book Lovers

H Tatiana, I think it would have Book Depository as I get everything I can through them as the postage is no fee, very nice, but I am thinking about ordering the book for the third time and hopefully will receive a movie. :DD

Joyland: Stephen King pits Pulp against Pixels

Book Lovers

Tatiana is being modest. She reads alot. I have taken her links to links and recently bought among other titles , Rutherford's Paris, which upon arrival was a CD set. These I kept, thinking well maybe one day, I can listen rather than read, so ordered again, the print. I received a book which appeared to be 1500 pages and upon opening find it islarge print. This was so annoyingbut became amusing when I was reading it on the train, barely able to hold the huge thing on my lap,and see the guy in the seat in front of me was reading it also - the large print version. I didn't even ask. Was so funny.

Languedoc Coeur Renaissance

Communty News & Events

Apols, prob incorrectly posted, as for a start Amboise is not in Languedoc. Suffice to say I agree with all posts about inclusivity rather than exclusion, and certainly the Coeur is where my interests in history, fashion, and architecture in SL were conceived and particularly in the Library with Farzaneh Eel organising. Skye's and Bedrich's generosity of spirit has been fundamental to the quality of my SL so you two , please keep sharing it with us here..

Languedoc Coeur Renaissance

Communty News & Events

Hi B. And a stunning history there with Amboise where I lived with ghosts for a long time without being awareof the chateau's historical importance. And I believe is constructed based on the original plan which explains the interest and functionality of the castle, the wonderful experience of living in it. My fave place ever, never change it please. I assume its lineage will be noted as other points of importance at the Coeur have been recently :)

I think given the importance of this information platform, it should be supported by and support educational / non profit organisations and there are hundreds of such institutions represented here who could benefit by reduced fees including adding more content or reducing fees for their group members. It's certainly not great using basic graphics soifviewing can be maintained reasonably to help users without higher end graphics cards etc it would definitely be more inclusive and therefore a richer experience and maybe in time, standard issue graphics will enable better viewing. Backwards compatibility has been ok I think. Any decision that will allow SL to flourish is surely good for Lindens and the community right now. Fees .. I think there are many content creators here  who deserve consideration owing to their substantial and continuing contribution to SL with or without connection to an edu / institution. That's a lot of administration..

Royal Courts Ning: ♥ 2013 Fundraiser ♥ March 14th

Site News & Guidelines

Hi Tatiana, I made it to the sign. I always loved that sign. I know it and I remember being very inspired when I came across it years it ago and I love that market area. I also found the link to Anne Boleyn on my way. It's great. I think the pink heart will make a difference next year as we will associate it with the funding of Ning and I must admit I did wonder how to get one quite a few times before twigging it. :)) I think the sign is very much in keeping with the Coeur and I think the pink heart could be used on any sims where the community ordinarily supports the blog or would like to. I maybe haven't noticed them elsewhere??

Royal Courts Ning: ♥ 2013 Fundraiser ♥ March 14th

Hi Tatiana, I will get to this at the weekend. I am sans laptop atm. Do you know, I know the Coeur intimately and have never come across the sign, and it's large apparently. lol, too busy takng in the greenery. For those who haven't contributed, they may have come in to Ning later or missed the significance of it like me. To be sure, without Ning these last 2 weeks, my withdrawals from SL since my machine went belly up would have been a spectacle for those around me in rl had I not had Ning to stay connected during this time, so a huge huge hug to you for initiating Ning and continuing it in the superb way you do. It is my oasis atm.
