The Sapphire Hall, Sapphire House
Sapphire Hall, one of the 8 full state rooms within Sapphire House (+2 semi-state). This chamber is located on the formal level of the house along with the Crimson State Room, the Gold State Room, the State Ballroom, the Damask Drawing Room, the White Drawing Room, the Palatine Great Hall, the Amber Presence Chamber and the Grand Presence Chamber. Along with the Ballroom this chamber provides an excellent venue for formal dances. Doors lead to respectively, the Damask and White Drawing Rooms, the Crimson State Room and, via a small lobby, the Gold State Room.
Let me say to the Comtesese de Mailly d'Haucourt that all the textures seen in the pictures of Sapphire House are mine and mine alone having uploaded them myself from my own resources.
Ekaterina may or may not have something similar but in this insrance her spying in respect of 'palce textures' is awry..they are entirely mine
I think what the Comtesse is implying is that these textures are from the real Ekaterina Palace, non? Not that you were taking these textures from anywhere else
LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!! In that case....then I would say that the Comtesse has a sharp eye!!!!!!!! In respect of her earlier comments about the Amber Hall here ..she is right about that..it is inspired by the rl one lost in the war and now replicated by the Russians. Sapphire House itself has grown over time and is somewhat eclectic though for the most part is 18th Century...give or take...(a few Tudor Rooms).
Oh it was replicated..I only know a little of the history. Were any of the panels recovered?
