I held une petite soiree in my apartment on Friday afternoon, and was so very honored by the distinguished guests who came by! Here, Madame Royale and His Serene Highness the Prince de Conde recall certain carriage rides while HRH the Comte de Provence and I listen politely. (Unfortunately, we had to rely on our fans because ... ma petite Flora evidently passed wind. Though she has never been known to do so before. But she is a dog, I suppose these things can happen ... can't they, Your Royal Highness?)
