PROVENCE COUER: A LOOK AHEAD

Peering into the future can be both exciting and challenging especially if your crystal ball, like mine, is more often cloudy than clear.  As we bid farewell to Rocca Sorrentina, which will always have a special place in my heart, it’s time to start making plans for the future of Provence Coeur and I’d like to include input from our community in this activity.

THE PROVENCE COUER ESTATE

Provence Coeur will continue to reflect the joys of 18th century France, as it has done for the past 18 years.  This includes our emphasis on quiet country living anchored by our two elegant chateaux, Le Petit Trianon and Bellevue.  The Queen’s Hamlet will remain in its current configuration, with cosmetic upgrades as needed (I really think that pond needs dredging after all these years!).

Le Jardin Français (PCE2} will continue to host the French Pavillion and its surrounding gardens as well as the shops and apartments.  Chateau Claire, on the east side of the region will be removed allowing for the landscape to blend more naturally into the farms and vineyards proceeding Bellevue.  This will also provide space for rental farms and cottages should they be desired.

The fate of Belle-Ille-En-Mer (PCS2) is still to be determined.  While it’s lovely to have that space for sailing it’s cost prohibitive if it can’t pay its own way.  If anyone is interested in making it their home, give me a shout and we can discuss options.

CURRENT TENANTS

Your homes and businesses are safe!  Current tenants whether residential or commercial can rest assured that their leases will continue with no interruptions and any changes to their surroundings would be limited to cosmetic upgrades.  It’s always nice to see new shrubbery when it becomes available!

NEW HOMES AND BUSINESSES

Now’s the perfect time to consider a home or business in an established historical region.  I’d love to hear your thoughts on creating an environment you would like to call home.

In the meantime, I’ve locked down the remaining available rentals until things get sorted.

AGE OF REASON

Age of Reason [AoR] active roleplay will continue to be available in Provence Coeur.  If you need help relocating your [AoR] activities from Rocca Sorrentina please contact me.

I’M BACK!

Last but not least, my RL commitments have settled down to a dull roar allowing me to enjoy SL again!  I will be travelling for a family event from August 5th to August 11th and so will be back inworld on a regular basis starting August 12th.  In the meantime, feel free to message and/or notecard me.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone!

Tat
