I recently read a book I think many in this group would enjoy. "Music for the Sun King" by Lindy Vinke is a murder mystery set in the court of Louis XIV. Its a good novel and is an especially good buy as the kindle version. The author goes into good detail on the lifestyle and etiquette of the court and seems to have done her research.
