Hello everyone!
I just became a member from royalcourts.ning.com as the Princess de Lamballe. Before I show you my short biography from her I will tell you a bit about myself. My love for the rococo and baroque time period started when I watched the Marie Antoinette movie. After that I was extremely in love with the clothing, etiquetteand Versailles. I watched the Marie Antoinette movie 1938 and some other time period movies. I desperatley wanted to go to Versailles and last year I finally went there. (it's realy pretty, gehehe) Now, enough about me. It's time for you to read a little bit about my character! (might have some bad english though)
Biography:I was born as the daughter from Louis Victor of Savoy and Christine Henriette of Hesse-Rheinfels-Rotenburg. At 8 September 1749.
I married to Louis Alexandre de Bourbon. Who was the prince of Lamballe. This marriage made me the princess of Lamballe. He had a few affairs and one year after our marriage he died in my arms in 1768. Making me a widow only ninenteen years old. His death made me a wealthy woman. When my husband died my father in law also gave me the Duchy of Rambouillet. Which made me the Duchess of Rambouillet.
Later I went to Versailles where I saw Louis and Marie getting married. I became good friends with Marie Antoinette and when she became queen, I became the Superintendent of the Queens Household. A year later that title went to duchess de Polignac.
I went with the royal family to the Tuileries Palace after the Women's March on Versailles in October 1789. When the royal family was forced to move the La Force prison. There they asked me to swear against the royal family. When I refused they brought me to the street and I was murderd by an angry mob. My body was cut off in pieces and my head put on a pike.
They showed my head in front of the window of Marie Antoinette and forced her to kiss the head. Because rumours said Marie Antoinette and I had a lesbian relationship. Which wasn't true.
