It's so true ... (sigh) we literally cannot dress ourselves!
When I was still in the convent we all wore front-lacing stays and gowns that all pinned and attached in the front, so that we *could* dress ourselves, as we weren't allowed maids ... but now of course I am a duchesse and I'm almost embarrassed to say that a maid is a necessity! Well, we are providing yet another income for the community, and it's not bad work I don't think ...
Oh, you were convent educated too? The good holynuns of the order of Sheistoosinfulforus, sent me and my dowry back to my parents! Smiling, with a enchantingly wicked twinkle in her eye....hmmm...I have always wondered why....stroking the silk and muslin fabricofher undergarments, which of course, are thefinest and most expensiveto be found in all ofFrance, as befittinga ladywho is very expensive to acquire, oops, laughing, hasexquiste taste rather...covering her faux pas

of course not
I am daily waxing more distressed by the indiscretions of my dear twin about our childhood.
Our Nanny was almost a model of matronly propriety.
Honi soit qui mal y pense!
