Banjo on a Lute
This week I hired a new farmhand, Banjo, who is just starting out with the new AES-system. He has now taken over most duties from Zeph, for whom it was time to leave the farming profession to go into trade; and already successful path of manufacturing luxury perfumes.
As for young Banjo, I'm quite pleased with him; Donna Sere was quite right when she recommended him to me. It is amusing to see how every farmhand has their own preference, whereas Zeph was more the crops man, Banjo seems to have special attention for the livestock. Unsurprisingly, as he told me he enjoyed his work as a stable-hand before. Today, as I was working on some accounts, I got distracted by some faint music I heard coming from outside. As the farm is in a remote forest area, I went on a closer inspection to the source of these wonderful sounds. I found it in my new farmhand sitting on of the meadow walls playing a lute. I believe we can expect great improvements for the quality of Delizi'azzuro's milk, wool, eggs, and meats; as the animals seem to greatly enjoy his playing. The cows Lattezia and Caramella, especially, are very taken with him.
