Antiquity: Night Flight over the...
It was a calm night, flying over the forests of Antiquity. Not a sound was heard except for the crackling of the fires used to make smoke... the smoke that consequently kept the balloon(and myself) aloft. I looked over the edge of the gondola to see miles and miles of trees... with a few accents of civilization in the form of the manicured gardens of the Loire. The moon bathed the scenery in an etherial glow, and along with the bobs and sways of the Montgolfier's dance, I was indeed lulled into a dreamlike trance. It sure is different up here... yet at the same time, similar to the open oceans...for one never quite knows what lay across that horizon. The open skies, like the waves, call forth to the adventurer it's challenges...bringing forth the bravest of all who dare leave their comfort zone to answer the call.
That's just great Lucerius. a real exhilaration watching this I should think. Who could have imagined this a short time ago.
The balloon ..... it's wonderful :D
Ah yes, after the duel between Don Mercurio and Don Federico, I found that it(the Montgolfier Balloon) was indeed an awe inspiring airship backed by some solid science. Because of this, I decided to have one commissioned to be built for myself and have officially Christened her the "Dama Fortuna."
