I was strolling in Paris with my dear friend Eugene, - ahem, Eugene Delacroix who paints large pictures when we came across a charming young lady (who in certain respects reminded meof my darling Princesse dAmblise) and an armed mob.
Dear Eugene halted immediately to sketch the scene and I somehow was included.
I must confess that as a British soldier I harbour some regard for liberty, but would abhor violence as a means of obtaining it.
Please, Miladies, keep your calm...A closer and more careful inspection of this painting shows us clearly that our dear Walter stands in the way of Lady Revolution in avery protecting manner, and tries to stop her...She would obviously have to trample over his dead body to reach you! ( though I wonder if he would not prefer her to wrestle with his LIVE body, ahem...)Aaah! brave and courageous Walter! We should be grateful to him, on the contrary!
Besides, we know Walter as a great time traveler, and this picture is dated 1848...we will all be dead by then! So, as our beloved King Louis XV is supposed to have said: " Aprs Nous, le dluge!"

I quite agree my Lord Myron. Regardez his incredible attire! What witchcraft keeps the crown of his hat so high from his head?! I shudder to think of les horreurs of the future!

Vive le Roi!
My darling sister, let me hasten to explain.
I was strolling in Paris with my dear friend Eugene, - ahem, Eugene Delacroix who paints large pictures when we came across a charming young lady (who in certain respects reminded meof my darling Princesse dAmblise) and an armed mob.

I must confess that as a British soldier I harbour some regard for liberty, but would abhor violence as a means of obtaining it.
But then the French ah well.
Please, Miladies, keep your calm...A closer and more careful inspection of this painting shows us clearly that our dear Walter stands in the way of Lady Revolution in avery protecting manner, and tries to stop her...She would obviously have to trample over his dead body to reach you!
