Sharing the Apples of Santa Lucia
Mons. Giovanelli, Archbishop and Patriarch of Venezia, brought many gifts for the children of Melioria precisely on the feast of Santa Cecilia. This is the day (13 December) that Venetian children receive gifts before Christmas. The children and young people crowded around our bishop then, so he asked me to bring the apples around to the others who might not have made it to the villa. Happy holidays everyone - buone feste a tutti!

Ahhh with al my travels I almost forgot. But i did enhale some fragrance from Cece's kitchen this morning and it smelled more of appleas then wine so that is a good sign that the hoildays are here.
