Site News & Guidelines

A quick update.

I waited 24+ hours after first posting hereand then sending individual messages to the members that were not in compliance with the new Guidelines.

I have now reset their profile pictures and requested anyother changes that may benecessary.

I meant to mention (but forgot) that was with the Humidex. In any case it's hot & I'm hoping for rain soon so send some our way ;)

Wow, those peonies sound wonderful! Don't you just love when you find a true gardening treasure like that. Post some pics if you get a chance, I'd love to see.

We got through our first load of soil and I'm actually ordering another one. It's going to have to wait though because it's just too hot this week for that kind of work (right now it's 108F/ 42C).

I have to say that those tips helped me a lot, especially the one about taking a brief break at least 3 times per hour. I'm prone to working until I practically seize up and have to drag myself away which means I'm not so keen to continue the next day. Well, live & learn :)

Bloggers' Corner

I love gardening both in SL and in RL!

One of the best things about SL gardening is that I'm not a physical wreck when I'm finished for the day. Of course I haven't got any benefits from the exercise either.

Back in RL,I just gotmy delivery of garden soil so will be spending the weekend shoveling, planting & raking. I'm hoping to do that without using up too much of my Advil supply by following some sensible tips which I've shared in this post:

Royal Courts Ning: ♥ 2012 Fundraiser ♥ Mission Accomplished!

Site News & Guidelines

Thank you, Aldo. Thanks also for all your support :)

Yes,for the first timeI am going to keep the donations open throughout the year. Now that we have met the 2012 goal, I will zero out the total on the donation panel and we can start collecting for 2013.

My hope is that this willhelp to increasethe actual number of contributors and thereby reduce the burden onour regularsupporters when it comes down to the actual renewal time.
