Merry Christmas Everyone...:))

Where has the time gone?  Its Christmas and time for another of my favorite traditions in Antiquity.  This year, the Antiquity Gift Exchange will take place on Boxing Day, Dec 26 at 12 noon in the Throne Room of Regency Buckingham.  HRH Prince George will be in attendance to oversee the opening of the gifts.  All are welcome to participate as always, but remember, you do not need to add a gift to participate.  All are welcome to the gifts from the tree.  Its Christmas and everyone is deserving of gifts and love during this most blessed season.

As the Christmas Season sneaks up on us, it will give us a chance to get together and celebrate this wonderful holiday with all our Antiquity Family and Friends. This year, the Christmas reception will be held on Boxing Day the 26th of December in the Throne Room of Regency Buckingham.
This year, we will have a gift exchange as always, there are multiple containers to choose from to place your gifts. Make sure the container will give more then one copy of the gift so that everyone can get one of yours. . All that can and want to participate, can build an object or buy a kit or a ready made object (permissions allowing) to place in the ornament or box. During the party, we will go to the tree and everyone can click on the different ornaments and get the gifts.

Anyone that would like to participate and or needs help, just contact Jacon or one of the admins.

Lets make this a warm and happy time for all of our Antiquity family and friends.

To get to the tree, you will land at the front doors, go inside and take a left, go straight to the stairs and go up the curved stairs.  First Doors are the Guard Room, go through the Green Drawing Room to the next set of double doors.  Go through them into the Throne Room.  The tree will be in there.

Thank you.  I hope you do come try them.  All the forest area has been transformed to a winter wonderland of snow and ice.  

Also, we just got added to the Winter Attactions for the Destination Guide.   The Tours were featured but also we have opened up Buckingham, dressed in all its Holiday Gear, to anyone that would like to look around the State Rooms or take a photograph in one of the rooms

 I hope you have a very merry Christmas Dear Tatiana, and thank you so much for all you do to support period historical worlds.

Thank you for your interest in taking a tour of Antiquity. The "Empire Tours" were designed to give first time visitors a chance to familiarize themselves with Antiquity and Residents with a way to take a relaxing ride through the lands The tours are color coded for your convenience. Below please find a description of the tours. Multi part tours require changing carriage/sleigh/Wagon/Horse during the tour. All tours include both ground and forest levels of Antiquity.  Antiquity as you have never seen it before.

Music HUD is included - New England Classical Radio - Wear the object. If it appears white, place your mouse over the HUD and media controls will appear. Refresh the screen or press the home button and the music will start.  ((flash must be up to date))

Tour 1 - Red Tour

This is a single ride tour. It will take you through the main roads and areas of Antiquity.

Tour 2 - Blue Tour

This is a 4 ride tour. It will take you through a more extended tour some of the ground and forest areas.

Tour 3 - Green Tour

This is a 3 ride tour. It will take you through a more extended tour some of the ground and forest areas.

Touch Lisa the ticket agent to select your tour. 

Also, Regency Buckingham has its State Rooms decorated and open to the public, come take a ride through the winter forest and end with a stroll through the State Rooms at Regency Buckingham.

Also Also, our annual gift exchange will be held on Boxing Day, in the throne room of Regency Buckingham.  All are invited to get gifts from the tree.  If you would like to participate by sending a gift, you can IM Jacon for a note card with the containers to place your gift.

Second Life: New Perk! Prim Limit Increase

Yay....I think this is great news.....one thing I have always thought is period estates and homes had it  harder as you needed so much decoration to make it look believable....detail in manors..and palaces can really eat up prims....this will allow us a little breather....add an extra dog or cat....maybe that high prim piece you have always said no...because you could not justify the prims...but love it all the same....this was something i had always wished for....and since it came totally un expected..it makes it all that much better......:))

Enjoy the extra prims...and remember....put out that extra dog..or cat...or decoration you like....lets enjoy this gift....its rare we get news like this in SL......:))

I was at the event at Designing Worlds today....it was great....I had to leave before the questions, but I am hoping they will publish that soon.

Wow.....prim increases......and decent ones too.  

Ten to one, I will be scrounging for prims 1 month after we get the increase..just sayin ...:P

As spring breaks, I would like to remind all we have some lovely properties open for rent spread about in Antiquity. There is a bit of everything. Below please find just a few of our openings. There are water front parcels as well as forest parcels.

The new Antiquity Travel Company has started basic services in Antiquity. The Antiquity Travel Company offers carriages to different locations throughout Antiquity on the ground and in the Forest. Private homes have carriages to major locations and other private homes as well.

Also, the Antiquity Fashion District is growing. Eight new shops have been added right between existing shops and the Antiquity Theater and Cathedral. A great location easily visible to all who arrive. We have great creators and beautiful period items.

Please contact Jacon Cortes or any of the Antiquity Administrators about a parcel or a shop. We have a good group of creators and we can help get you exactly what you need to be comfortable.
